Things I Like About Plano Christian Academy…

(Quotes from PCA Students, 2003)

I like PCA because the teachers are really sweet and loving.
I also like PCA because we have short days and still
get as much work done as public school.

I like the way they don’t just throw papers in front of you
and give you a certain amount of time to finish it.

The thing I like most about this school is that the classes are very small,
so you learn a lot better.  You also get individual attention from the teacher.

I like Plano Christian Academy because of the great teachers.
 They are all very nice and good at what they do.
They all make school fun.
I never thought school could be that fun.

The people are very nice.  I like my teacher.
I like how the system is going and how things are working out.
I love my new school.

I like our [course guide]… our class calls it “The Big Fat Book.”
This book contains many different sections,
so you don’t get confused.

I am very grateful that my mom chose to put me in this school.
It has many good qualities.  For example, our teachers are very
rewarding and understanding.

I like PCA because we have small classes… and short days.
We also get really good gym [P.E.] time.

A few things I really like about this school are…
that we can work more independently,
not having to limit our work time because [others] are being loud
and the teacher is getting onto the whole class.

What I like about PCA is the [schedule], since I work out six hours a day.
I also like that the classes are small, because if you are having trouble with something,
the teachers can help you, and then help someone else.

I also like how all the students know each other.

My favorite things at this school are the teachers.
They are really nice and take time to work with you on
what you need help on.

I like PCA because the people are awesome.
The kids are cool and nice.
The teachers enforce the rules,
but they do not act like dictators.

What I like about this school is that we get to have privileges if we are really good.
The teachers are extremely nice.  What I absolutely love
is that lunch always seems early,
because of all the fun we have.

I enjoy PCA because the schedule allows me
to be more involved in my athletic activities.

I am a Junior (11^th) in high school.  Prior to attending this school,
 I was a student in one of the public schools.
I am a Christian, and while I was there [at public school],
I witnessed some of the limitations the school was put under.
The teachers and students were at no time able to discuss religion.
Here at Plano Christian Academy,
we enjoy a privilege that not many people have.
We are free not only to talk about our religious beliefs,
but to discuss them together as a whole,
which is something that not many people can say.
