Plano Christian Academy administers portions of the language arts and mathematics components of the Stanford Achievement Test for grades K - 4. Students who are applying for grades 5 - 12 need to take the ISEE (Testing dates and locations for the ISEE may be found at http://www.erbtest.org/parents/admissions/isee). When considering a student the following areas are valued: support of the school mission, parental involvement in the child's education, attitude of the student and academic abilities. A stanine score of 6 - 9 in both laungage arts and mathematics is the desired mark set for placement in the desired grade. PCA considers the whole child as well as family support to build a school family that will work together to futher the mission of the school. 

On February 4, 2008, the school established a new policy that a child must be five years of age by September 1 of their kindergarten year to be able to enter Kindergarten at PCA. This policy is designed to help ensure readiness for kindergarten both academically and maturity-wise.
